There are many poker players that are aspiring to become one of the greatest in the game. However, only few who can stand up to the bluffs, has different strategies, and has great luck can be one of the best poker players. Paul Wasicka is a professional poker player that has joined a number of poker tournaments. Wasicka is determined to be one of the best professional poker players that became successful due to the game.
Wasicka started playing poker as a professional in 2004. From 2004 to 2007 of playing poker, Wasicka has already more than 7.3 million dollars. Some people might think that such amount was accumulated from all the tournaments that Wasicka has joined into. However, Wasicka made that amount of cash from the live poker events alone.
Wasicka was born in Dallas on February 17, 1981. Before he started to play as a professional poker player, Wasicka was a bartender. He also worked as a restaurant manager then he became a poker player. The first poker tournament that he has taken part in was an underground tournament, which was held in Denver. After participating in the tournament, Wasicka grew interest in the game. Thus, he wanted to take part in the world of poker professionals.

In September 2004, Wasicka joined the Fall Poker Classic. This was the first tournament that he joined into where he managed to generate his first winnings. The winnings that he has cashed in from that major event are not that much. However, it was a great thing for him to finish in the tournament with money on his hands. Furthermore, Paul Wasicka joined in the same tournament where he also managed to generate cash in October 2005.
The first time that Wasicka became noticeable in the World Poker Tour was in April 2006. This is when he participated at the Five Star World Poker Classic Tournament, which was conducted by WPT. Wasicka managed to generate $146,460 in that event. This is when poker fans and other poker professionals notice that Wasicka can be one of the best and the most successful poker player.
Furthermore, in 2006, Wasicka was able to join into the 37th Annual World Series of Poker. He played in the No Limit Hold'em Championship game where he managed to reach the final table. He was not that lucky enough to win the pot in the tournament. However, he still managed to earn $6,102,499 as a runner up in the game held by WSOP.
In March 2007, Paul Wasicka won first at the NBC National Heads Up Championship, a No Limit Hold'em Heads Up tournament. He earned $500,000 in the said event. Because of that, he became more famous in the poker world. Wasicka also managed to finish fourth at the Los Angeles Poker Classic tournament by WPT. He was able to take $455,615 by finishing fourth in the WPT event.
After several years of playing poker and at such a young age, Paul Wasicka has managed to generate millions of winnings. Furthermore, even though he is already one of the best poker players, Wasicka still admire other professional poker player.
